Yang Heng, born in 1975, Tujia nationality, a native of Jishou City, Hunan, China, graduated from Beijing Film Academy Photography School in 2001. In 2006, he completed his film debut 'Betel Nut'. In 2007, he was invited by the Rotterdam Film Festival to produce the film installation 'Nirvana'. In 2008, the screenplay 'Light Spot' was selected as the 'Cinefondation' project of the Cannes Film Festival. In 2008, he participated in the Portuguese film cooperation program and was invited to shoot the short story 'Ping Pong'. He has filmed short films 'Bump and Convex', 'Car Carriage', and 'The Forgotten Moment'. In 2013, the film 'The Lake of Water' was completed.
