In the winter of 2020, the night before Wuhan closed down, Zhao Juanjuan, a young mother in Zhouwan, rode the snow and wind during her monthly pregnancy to set off on the long, rugged road to find her child. She had to bring her newborn daughter, still under observation in a hospital incubator, home before the city was officially closed. From the village entrance to the town's passenger transport centre and then on to the Wuhan highway junction, a mysterious little girl joined her on her journey - she was on her way to Wuhan to be reunited with her mother. Miraculously, the little girl always seems to be there for Juan when she needs her most. The time to meet finally comes, but nothing is quite as we imagined ......
